"Golf is played, for the most part, without the supervision of a referee or an umpire. The game relies on the integrity of the individual to show consideration for other players amd to abide by the rules. All players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times, irrespective of how competitive they may be."

--- excerpt from the USGA rules of Golf

The Diamond Bar Seniors Golf Club is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to promote interest in the game of golf. To this end, the club holds regular (stroke) golf tournaments on a regular basis and special events of golf games in varying formats. The club holds its regular games on each Thursday of the week.

To uphold the true spirit of the game of golf - the gentelemen's game - the club firmly adheres to the guidelines and rules set forth by the USGA. Handicap, established and maintained through the SCGA, is used for most tournaments. The Equitable Scoring System (ESC) is always used for scores destined for posting.

The Diamond Bar Seniors Golf Club is governed by a group of Officers voted in by the members of the club and by a Board of Directors consisting of people elected by the executive officers.
